How dates are used

A review date changes when the relevant material is checked, not whenever a page loads. A source’s publication date, our review date and a future in-game test date are separate fields. Earlier statements are corrected when new evidence is available; they are not relabeled as past playtests.

Our editorial policy describes how we assess evidence for a correction.
